When I was younger, I had a really hard time finding a salon/spa that assisted with what I considered my misled or misinformed knowledge of the beauty world. It was really difficult to find somewhere that I trusted – that didn’t feed me information just to make a sale, etc. I’ve always had a knack for makeup application, but because of my bad luck in stores, I started researching and educating myself on beauty products and makeup; so much so that I became the go-to person all throughout my younger years. This allowed me to practice and grow using many different skin tones and face structures. Attending QC Makeup Academy allowed me to refine and enhance my skill. My love of makeup and everything beauty continues to grow!

I, like many women, struggled for many years to find a hair removal method that worked and caused minimal discomfort. I tried everything from shaving, to depilatories, to waxing. At some point in my search, I managed to stumble upon sugaring. The technician I had was amazing and so knowledgable. I left that appointment knowing that I needed to let every women I knew in on the secret of body sugaring! Much to my dismay, sugaring was a highly underserved market in Regina, and even in Saskatchewan. It was then that I decided to get myself certified and began taking clients so that I could spread the word that body sugaring was far superior to waxing! I haven’t looked back since that first appointment and when I look into my future, don’t see myself stopping any time soon!
